Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Self-Contained Program
Location: Illinois School-Based School Year
Were hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a self-contained special education program serving those with low-incidence and profound disabilities. This full-time position focuses on helping students develop essential communication and language skills in a structured supportive environment.
What Youll Do:
- Collaborate with teachers paraprofessionals and related service providers.
- Support communication through AAC devices visuals and other assistive tools.
- Conduct evaluations develop IEP goals and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and team planning.
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy for a caseload of 2530 students.
Requirements
Must hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license. A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders is required and while the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred it is not mandatory.
