About the Role:WSO/Loans Sales Engineer Sr Associate (North America Region)

The Team: This position will focus on the WSO & loans product suite that is utilized to centralize and outsource loan operations for higher efficiency and cost savings. Access comprehensive software and services for participants in the syndicated and private loan markets. Our Software solutions teams provides end to end processing from front middle to back office.

Responsibilities and Impact: The successful candidate will have broad experience in financial markets software & managed services sales technical skills and the ability to demonstrate complex buy-side & sell-side bank loan expertise. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills along with the desire to learn new products.

Delivering Software & Managed Services Presentations

• Deliver software and manage services presentations through virtual or onsite demonstration.
• Support sales specialist during client meeting as product expert
• Must be able to gather / document client requirements and thereafter translate requirements into software presentation that conforms to client needs.
• Work through RFIs RFPs and POCs.
• Collaborate with product management team to scope out client requirements.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $78000 to $118000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• 3-4 years General loan experience (syndicated and private loan)
• Must have technical aptitude and be comfortable setting up/maintaining laptop demo environments connecting laptops to projectors etc.
• Buy Side or Sell Side industry and product lifecycles (from trade settlement to cash reconciliation)
• Possess overall knowledge of market participants (ex: Asset Managers Custodians Administrators etc.)

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• WSO related experience required
• Must be comfortable speaking in front of audiences.
• Must be interested in delivering expert level bank loan administration software presentations to small or large audiences on software.
• Must be keen not only on learning but also on empowering new/existing members of sales and account management through product training / imparting of asset class knowledge.
