About Us:LABBB Collaborative provides educational programming and support services for over 300 special needs students from over 65 districts. LABBB serves students ages 3 to 22 years old with a variety of special needs including students on the autism spectrum students with multi-handicaps pervasive development disorders developmental delays language deficits and social/emotional challenges. About the role:LABBB Educational Collaborative (LABBB) is seeking to hire a Finance Manager to provide integral assistance and support to enhance and streamline business financial payroll and human resources processes and applications. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Director of Finance & Operations and will also assist with budget development prepare financial reports and manage other critical business functions.

Qualifications:Bachelors degree in business finance public administration or relevant area. At least 5 years of working experience and a minimum of 3 years working experience in a business/finance office preferably in a public school and/or public sector in budget development knowledge of finance/business management and general accounting principles and familiarity with payroll human resources and accounts receivable/payable operations is preferred.

Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to work collaboratively and respectfully with staff students and other stakeholders of the Collaborative. The individual must have initiative possess the ability to work independently problem solve and apply solutions and be a critical thinker.A successful individual will be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment consistently meet deadlines that result in an accurate work product and communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written the individual will have to demonstrate strong computer skills proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite and should have experience working with a financial application/accounting system preferably School ERP or similar/related software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate and assist with the implementation training maintenance and use of financial application/accounting system (School ERP) payroll system (Harpers) and other applications/systems related to the Business Office including Human Resources that are currently in use or may be introduced in the collaboratively with Business/Central Office Human Resources Payroll and other personnel to ensure all processes and procedures are in compliance with local jurisdiction and state agency policies and that all current business payroll and accounting systems are employed to maximum efficiency and utilization. Set-up and oversee training of systems as may be with the development of the annual budget including updating salaries insurance costs and other employer costs. Attend all budget meetings implement revenue and expenditure revisions to the draft spending document along with staffing updates. Regularly monitor the approved budget throughout the fiscal Budget v. Actual and Cash Flow reports on a monthly basis and other financial reports as may be with the annual financial audit including overseeing the preparation of accrued payroll and accrued expenses and performing quarterly payroll and billing with the annual actuary monthly bank account reconciliations and insurance billing reconciliations along with filing of reports with state pension in the implementation of policies procedures and operational improvements related to Business/Central Office the Business Office by attending any and all meetings as required by the Executive Director and Director of Finance & OperationsPerform any other duties and assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Executive Director and Director of Finance & Operations

Terms of Employment Salary Range & Work Year: This is a full year 12-month position with competitive benefits package and a salary range between $90000 - $100000 based on experience and qualifications. This position may require travel from time to time between LABBB Collaborative program locations.
