QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Experience in coaching social or human services or education;
• Minimum of one year experience

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Position Specific

• Provide support to the Guides to ensure strong relationships develop between the Guide and Explorer as well as the Caregiver(s)
• Take the lead in supporting the Guide/Explorer through their ongoing relationship and serve as a positive role model
• Act as a critical supporter by providing assistance structure and guidance to Guides
• Convene document and report check-ins with Guides Explorer and Caregiver
• Identify and analyze problems; weigh relevance and accuracy of information; generate and evaluate alternative solutions and makes recommendations
• Document and maintain essential program statistics information and files
• Ensure that all Guides perform consistently with applicable laws regulations and compliance standards and behave legally and ethically in all matters
• Ensure Wonder Staff and County Social Workers are kept up to date regarding the Guide/Explorer relationship as well as any other pertinent issues and events (e.g. upcoming court decisions placement changes etc.)
• Direct Guides to contact the county social worker when appropriate and ensure that the proper documentation is sent to the county worker
• Seek out additional resources on behalf of the Guides as necessary
• Maintain communication with the Program Coordinator Manager and other Coaches to discuss the progress of the relationships and to brainstorm specific situations
• Other duties as assigned

• Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of the agency while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics agency Policies and Procedures state and federal laws and County Mental Health Plan requirements
• Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward agency Mission Vision and Values
• Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed
• Utilize and maintain Microsoft Outlook calendar with all work-related details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers
• Participate in on-going training to expand and develop professional skills
• Perform other duties as necessary for the agency as assigned

Employment At-Will
Employment at the Agency is terminable at-will which means that employment may be
terminated at any time without cause or reason by either the employee or the
addition the Agency may also demote layoff transfer or reassign employees at any time at its
sole discretion without cause or reason

Salary Range:

Wonder Coach: $24.00 - $34.00 Hourly DOE
