Join a top team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Field Service Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess identify issues and fix analytical instrumentation particularly QPCR and CE systems.
- Provide installation maintenance and application support for our products.
- Conduct rigorous testing and calibration to ensure equipment meets stringent performance standards.
- Train and assist customers in the efficient use of our instruments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement solutions and improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
Requirements:
- BS degree or above in analytical chemistry chemical engineering biochemistry pharmaceutical environmental engineering or related fields.
- Must have at least two years of experience working with QPCR and CE systems and demonstrate strong computer skills.
- Experience in field service for a minimum of two years specifically focusing on installing and maintaining analytical instruments is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a determined approach to diagnosing and resolving hardware and application issues.
- Ability to work independently while also demonstrating effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
