Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently hiring a proficient and driven Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our world-class Engineering team. Typical work hours are 6p - 6a on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems
Diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical and electronic system issues
Perform inspections to ensure adherence to prescribed guidelines
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Collaborate with diverse teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
Associate Degree with four (4) years of related experience or High School Diploma with six (6) years of related experience.
Experience in Sterile Pharmaceutical Biotechnology or Medical Device Industry preferred.
Proven experience with Sterile IMA Production Systems HVAC/HEPA Systems Clean Utility Systems Black Utility Systems Electrical Distribution Systems (AC and DC 24v to 480v) Motors VF Drives and Servo Controlled System preferred.
Ability to analyze problematic equipment and electromechanical component failures without schematics. Proficiency in the use of highly technical diagnostic and test equipment reading blueprints schematics manuals and technician papers.
Strong oral and written communication skills attention to detail task prioritization and interpersonal proficiency.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and electronic systems
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
