The King County Veterans Program (KCVP) seeks an experienced and visionary Program Operations Manager to lead multi-site service operations for veterans and their families. This new role will provide strategic and operational oversight of site management case management practices and staffing at our Tukwila and Northgate locations ensuring consistent high-quality service delivery that reflects the Countys commitment to equity performance and community-centered care.
The Program Operations Manager will supervise site leadership (including the Assistant Site Manager) and provide guidance to staff managing client caseloads. This position drives systems improvements across infrastructure staffing and service delivery while supporting staff in case consultation crisis response and complex service decision-making. It is ideal for a candidate who thrives in complex fast-paced environments and brings deep knowledge of human services operations case management veteran systems and team leadership.

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS: This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility required for off-site travel or emergency response.
MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:This position has been designated Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive department director or agency head all employees regardless of designation are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT:DCHS works in a hybrid model with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location(s) are TUKWILA at 645 Andover Park West Tukwila WA 98188. and the NorthGate Exec Tower II at 9725 3rd Ave NE Suite 300 Seattle WA 98115.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
