Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Neurology Department in Frederick Maryland.
This full-time permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings collaborating closely with neurologists to provide comprehensive neurological care. The NP will evaluate diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions ensuring continuity and excellence in care delivery.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct neurological assessments review medical histories and assist with diagnostic and treatment planning.
Manage follow-up care for patients with chronic neurological disorders such as migraines seizures and neuropathies.
Provide inpatient neurology support and consultations as needed.
Collaborate with neurologists nurses and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary care.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses medications and ongoing care plans.
Participate in continuing education clinical meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Maryland NP license.
Experience: Prior neurology or inpatient experience preferred; motivated new graduates welcome.
Skills: Strong diagnostic communication and interpersonal skills.
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
