The Business of Creative Enterprises (BCE) Graduate Program at Emerson College invites applications for an affiliated (part-time) faculty position to develop and teach an asynchronous online graduate Marketing course beginning in Summer 2026. This role involves paid course development during Spring 2026 and subsequent instruction of two online sections during Summer 2026.This new graduate-level course emphasizes practical industry-focused marketing applications within the creative industries. Students will learn to think strategically do effective brand marketing and write concise impactful copy for the Creative Industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Course Development and Training (Spring 2026):
Complete Emersons online teaching certification program (paid participation) and build or edit course using Canvas LMS.
Course Instruction (Summer 2026):
Teach two asynchronous online sections of a course currently titled: BC 603 Storytelling with Mission Vision and Values
Provide timely constructive feedback while guiding students through modules.
Qualifications
Masters degree or higher in Marketing Communications Business or a related field
Substantial professional experience in marketing within the creative industries (e.g. advertising media design entertainment publishing music).
Expertise in ad copywriting branding strategy creative briefs persona development and research-driven marketing.
Ability to engage students in a writing-intensive asynchronous online environment.
Ideal candidate has experience with Asynchronous or Online graduate teaching.
Applicants must reside in California Connecticut Maine Massachusetts New Hampshire New York Rhode Island or Vermont at the time of appointment.
