AtZühlke we are looking for aMendix Application Engineer (Operations & Lifecycle Focus)who takes ownership of Mendix solutions in their live phase. Youll be responsible for maintaining optimizing and enhancing multiple Mendix applications across different clients and industries. This role blends operational excellence with hands-on development ensuring that what we build continues to deliver value every day.

Your Role

• Take responsibility for theoperation and lifecycle managementof multiple Mendix applications in production across various clients.
• Ensure thereliability performance and securityof live Mendix solutions through proactive monitoring maintenance and optimization.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents quickly identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand evolving business needs andimplement continuous improvements and new features.
• Participate indevelopment projectsto bring your operational perspective into the design and build phase ensuring applications are maintainable and scalable.
• Manage deployments environment configurations and release processes in coordination with DevOps and platform teams.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve observability through scripting tooling and monitoring solutions.
• Contribute to best practices documentation and knowledge sharing within Zühlkes low-code community.

Your Talent

• Proven experience inMendix application developmentand a strong focus on operations maintenance and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience running Mendix applications in production monitoring troubleshooting and optimizing live systems.
• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps) andcloud environments(Mendix Cloud AWS or Azure).
• Solid understanding ofREST APIs integrations and system connectivity.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term reliability.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with developers operations teams and clients.
• Proactive attitude you anticipate issues automate where possible and always look for improvement opportunities.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fluency in English. German is a plus.
