Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Teamwork The student employee will work with colleagues the Marketing and Communications Department as well as various members of the Gannon community to bring marketing and communications ideas and initiatives to life while representing the institutional voice brand and mission to achieve university goals. Career & Self Development - The student employee will actively build assets to add to their professional portfolio and resume as well as experience networking opportunities with various levels of Gannon administration and community partners. This Integrated Marketing Influencer (Multimedia) will work alongside members of the Marketing & Communications Department to plan develop and implement marketing initiatives across a variety of Gannon Universitys owned earned and paid media channels. This includes but is not limited to written publications social media press releases websites events advertisements video commercials and more. This position will focus primarily on all aspects of photography and videography from creating content to editing and publishing through collaboration with the University Media Producer and other members of the University Marketing & Communications team. The Integrated Marketing Influencer will attend various departmental meetings and events participate in mentoring by various department members engage in group projects with student peers and university employees may lead various assignments on behalf of the department develop market research and trends as well as pitch and receive content assignments for various digital and traditional media formats. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment working autonomously as well as collaboratively to execute integrated strategies across a cross-functional team of graphic designers photographers videographers and marketing content communications and social media experts. The hours and format of this position are flexible and may vary based on departmental needs and functions working both in-person as well as virtually with possible evening and weekend hours as needed for various social media event and additional marketing opportunities.

Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a student at Gannon University.
Preferred Qualifications
Education or experience in marketing communication journalism multimedia or a related field. Experience with DSLR /Mirrorless Cameras and lenses. Experience in production set-up including lights and audio equipment. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere InDesign Photoshop Illustrator). Familiar with a variety of social media channels (Facebook Instagram Twitter LinkedIn Snapchat TikTok). Proficient knowledge of Office suite of products (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
