Position Summary...

This position will be accountable for short- and long-term strategies plans and execution for Walmart eComm Transportation GoLocal and Spark Delivery. This includes planning owning and implementing Last Mile Delivery projects. This position oversees the development construction and implementation of Last Mile Delivery operations while working closely with Tech and Operations.

What youll do...

Key Priorities
Last Mile Operations Establishes critical connections within the core Last Mile team across eComm Transportation GoLocal and Spark Delivery as well as with key partners within the Supply Chain Asset Strategy group in order to connect customers to products in the quickest and most cost effective manner. Owns and develops the Last Mile cost model necessary to achieve 3 cost per delivery through density routing and secured and in-home delivery density resulting in industry leading speed for consumers and the lowest costs for Walmart. Governance and Collaboration: Governs the ways in which teams work in order to ensure a consistent focus on strategy throughout the larger organizations major verticals for example Supply Chain Store Operations Automation Collaborates with the Walmart Leadership Team and the Supply Chain Leadership Team to evolve the Last Mile business model. Ensures that processes projects and programs align with Walmarts overarching vision. Provides feedback on Walmart enterprise initiatives as needed. Leverages industry experience to ensure Walmarts competitiveness. Financial Performance: While ensuring world class service this position is responsible for delivering significant cost improvements on critical metrics. Will be accountable for annual cost performance to be met and exceeded and lays out multiyear cost journey to deliver strategic cost needs for this important business. The role develops contingencies as needed on cost and ensures communication and alignment with executive leadership is clear.
Process Improvement: Implements process improvements to ensure Walmart growth and profit goals are met through optimized processes for example work flow optimization and management practices for example creating strategies advising on policies. Communicates monthly results against predetermined targets. Identifies root causes and improves metrics and reporting systems on a continuous basis. Strategic Problem Solving: Trains team members on the process of evaluating multiple potential options. Develops solutions to complex cross functional challenges. Conducts industry research to identify best practices and creative methods involving issue resolution. Assists in the successful resolution of problems and the coordination of stakeholders in high impact situations. Establishes processes that analyze and predict long-term trends as well as the implications of alternative solutions. Gains agreement on problem-solving processes risk assessments decision points and criteria. Talent Development: Ensures effective skill identification by recruiting and retaining top talent. Provides insights on associate talent throughout the organization. Provides overall human capital input within assigned function. Promotes a Human Resources strategic talent model that predicts and resolves gaps upgrades talent and promotes a customer centered culture.

The annual salary range for this position is $350000.00 - $550000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
