Job Summary/Basic Function: | The Controller provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Foundations accounting and financial reporting functions. This position ensures accuracy integrity and compliance in all financial matters supporting the Foundations mission to advance Boise State University through effective stewardship of donor resources. |
Department Overview: | A nonprofit Idaho organization the Boise State University Foundation was established in 1964 for the benefit of Boise State University. We work to secure philanthropic support for the university by developing and nurturing relationships with our alumni and friends and stewarding gifts made to support Boise State. The Foundation works closely with university leadership the Boise State University Alumni Association and the Bronco Athletic Association.

Level Scope: | Oversees through subordinate Managers a large complex organization with multiple functional disciplines/occupations OR manages a program regardless of size that has critical impact upon the campus. Significant responsibility for formulating and administering policies and programs manages significant human financial and physical resources and functions with a very high degree of autonomy. Frequently influences business decisions made by senior leadership. Oversees through subordinate Managers the accountability and stewardship of campus resources and the development of systems and procedures to protect organizational assets. Negotiates and influences others to understand and accept new concepts practices and approaches. |

MinimumQualifications: | Bachelors degree and 8 years relevant experience including 5 years managerial experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Bachelors degree in accounting and 8 years relevant experience including 5 years managerial experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA). |
Salary and Benefits: | The starting salary range for this position is $136198.40 to $170248.00 annually and is commensurate with State University provides a best-in-classbenefits package including (but not limited to):
