About the Role
The primary objective of the Sr Project Manager position is to oversee and coordinate a team process which will result in change and measurable improvement in the delivery of health care services at University Hospital. Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President the Sr Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of various Human Experience Population Health Quality Improvement projects from design stage through to completion. The Sr Project Manager is an action and results-oriented person who builds strong relationships with people at all levels. He/she analyzes data to evaluate current
systems identifies opportunities for improvement and monitors performance improvement activities over time. Prepares reports and comprehensive project documentation for senior management.
Responsibilities
What Youll Do
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive change and measurable improvements in healthcare delivery at University Hospital.
- Operate under the guidance of the Senior Vice President to manage daily operations of multiple projects focused on Human Experience Population Health and Quality Improvement.
- Oversee projects from initial design through to successful implementation and completion.
- Act as a results-driven leader who fosters strong relationships across all organizational levels.
- Analyze data to assess current systems and identify areas for enhancement.
- Track and evaluate performance improvement initiatives over time.
- Prepare detailed reports and project documentation for senior leadership review.
Qualifications
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Social Science Nursing or other health-related field is required.
- Masters degree is preferred.
- Five (5) years of progressively more responsible professional experience preferably in a health care environment.
- At least two (2) years in a project administrator/manager capacity required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to motivate people.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Must be familiar with clinical information and databases.
- Experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree requirements on a year-for-year basis.
Compensation(NJ Job Transparency Law)
The expected salary range for this position is $142454 - $178066- $213680 per year in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
