Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Rotating Shifts)

Location: New York
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Day/Night/Weekend/Holiday rotation) 2 On-Call shifts every 4 weeks

Job Summary:
Were seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our fast-paced high-acuity team. The ED RN provides compassionate skilled and efficient care for patients of all ages managing both urgent and emergent situations. This role requires strong clinical judgment communication and critical thinking skills to deliver exceptional care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess prioritize and provide care for patients presenting with a variety of emergency conditions

• Perform and assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures and interventions

• Apply triage standards (ESI) to identify care priorities and coordinate patient flow

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

• Support patients and families with clear communication education and emotional support

• Promote infection prevention safety and adherence to best nursing practices

• Participate in patient education discharge planning and follow-up referrals

Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License (Required)

• Minimum 2 Years of Acute Care Experience as an RN (Required)

• Minimum 1 Year of Emergency Department RN Experience (Required)

• Certifications (Required):

  • BLS - American Heart Association or RQI

  • ACLS - American Heart Association or RQI

  • PALS - American Heart Association or RQI

  • Stroke/NIHSS Certification

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour shifts (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)

• 2 On-Call shifts per 4-week schedule
