Process Engineer Operations Team
Location: Hammerfest
Duration: 01.12.2025 31.01.2027
Our client is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their Operations this role you will provide technical expertise within the area of process and contribute to strengthening the teams competence. You will support operated assets and play a key role in optimizing production performance.
Main Tasks
Your responsibilities will vary depending on your background but will typically include:
- Active participation in the Asset Production Team supporting operated assets
- Acting as point of contact for assigned areas (e.g. process systems chemicals and flow assurance)
- Monitoring and analyzing process parameters to identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization
- Leading or supporting troubleshooting of process upsets flow assurance issues and chemical treatment challenges
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and across functions to ensure alignment
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in production efficiency safety environmental impact and financial performance
- Participating in safety reviews risk assessments and deviation handling
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent
- Good knowledge of NCS regulations and standards
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in both English and Norwegian
