This position will work in Caterpillar China (Qingdao) R&D Center Electrification Energy Solution team on competitive site charging solutions development.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct in-depth analysis of customers power supply sources and charging demand characteristics across different application scenarios.

Track the actual usage process of customers electrified products and accurately identify pain points in charging needs and existing issues.

跟踪客户电动化产品的实际使用过程精准识别充电需求痛点及现存问题

Be responsible for converting customer needs into system-level requirements for charging solutions ensuring the requirements are implementable and executable.

Lead cross-functional teams to complete the full-process design of charging system solutions including scheme demonstration and detail implementation.

Participate in the selection evaluation of charging pile products and supplier screening ensuring product quality and supply chain stability.

参与充电桩产品的选型评估与供应商筛选工作保障产品质量与供应链稳定性

Provide technical support during the operation of charging systems and quickly respond to and resolve various technical issues.

提供充电系统使用期间的技术支持快速响应并解决各类技术问题

Degree Required

Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Engineering Automation Electronic Technology or related majors.
本科及以上学历电气工程自动化电子技术或相关专业背景

Skill Preference

Domain Knowledge / 领域知识
In-depth understanding of charging pile systems power engineering and related technologies.
深入了解充电桩系统电力工程及相关技术

Component Expertise / 元器件专业知识
Familiarity with performance parameters and application scenarios of high and low voltage distribution components; awareness of charging pile market trends.

Project Execution Skills / 项目执行能力
Ability to manage the full lifecycle of charging station construction including planning approval construction and acceptance; skilled in identifying and managing key implementation points.

System Design & Protocols / 系统设计与协议应用能力
Proficiency in distribution system design and operation & maintenance; solid grasp of basic circuit principles and practical experience with serial port protocols such as RS485/RS232.

Strong communication and coordination skills; capable of conducting needs analysis and effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
