Were recruiting a dedicated Employee Relations Advisor to join our dedicated people team and support the colleagues who make our mission possible.

We are a leading and growing charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and adults with autism and other learning complexities with our head office based in Christchurch.

A day in the life of an Employee Relations Advisor would include:

  • Playing a key role in creating a positive and supportive working environment across the organisation
  • Advising and guiding managers on a wide range of employee relations matters including absence management disciplinary and grievance issues performance concerns in particular within adult services
  • Helping workplace culture that empowers our dedicated staff to provide outstanding care and support to the people who need us most.
  • Leading investigations and supporting hearings as needed
  • Analysing trends and support initiatives to improve staff wellbeing and retention
  • Contributing to policy reviews and continuous HR improvement initiatives

We are looking for someone with solid experience in employee relations or an HR advisory role strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice and compassionate professional and confident communication skills.

You should have experience supporting managers with sensitive or complex HR matters hold (or be working towards) CIPD Level 5 and be proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
