Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic commercial plans tailored to efficiently achieve business objectives in accordance with industry regulations and processes related to public sector bidding.
- Lead and manage the tendering process including proposal development pricing strategy and risk management with a strong understanding of public bidding procedures and industry-standard terms such as NEC and FIDIC.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers ensuring familiarity with agreements pertinent to the Energy Sector such as NDAs MOUs and Consortium Agreements while maintaining alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales legal technical and operational teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives that respect public sector procedural requirements.
- Review and redline contractual terms ensuring they meet company objectives and industry standards; lead negotiations with customers working closely with legal teams to address complex issues and ensure compliance.
- Extract and analyse data from internal systems to generate insights that inform strategic decisions and align with industry protocols.
- Evaluate and mitigate contractual risks establishing robust risk management processes that adhere to security classification and compliance standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers acting as a trustworthy and polite advisor familiar with industry standard procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience in commercial management with a strong preference with NEC and FIDIC contracts within the Industry sector.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating high-value contracts and managing complex commercial operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic insights and actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g. Salesforce Excel CPQs) is preferred.
