Job Summary
Looking to fill one position as a parts counter person.
Core responsibilities:
- Customer service: Greet customers understand their needs and provide technical assistance and product knowledge.
- Sales:Process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently while also cross-selling related products or services.
- Inventory management:Track parts availability monitor stock levels reorder parts and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Order fulfillment:Locate parts using catalogs or computer systems process special orders and ensure timely delivery to customers..
- Department maintenance:Keep the parts counter and storage areas clean organized and well-stocked.Required skills and qualificationsProduct knowledge:Understanding of parts tools and equipment in a specific automotive.Customer service:Ability to build rapport and provide excellent service to a diverse customer base.Computer skills:Proficiency in using inventory and sales management software and online parts catalogs.Communication:Strong verbal and written communication to interact with customers and technicians effectively.Organization and detail:Ability to handle multiple tasks maintain accurate records and stay organized under pressure.Problem-solving:Ability to think critically to find solutions for customer issues and research part availability.Math skills:Ability to perform calculations for sales and other transactions.
