Job Summary

Conant Middle High School is seeking a dynamic English educator who believes in individualizing education in order to maximize student learning. This educator must consistently work to build strong relationships with learners parents staff and community. The ideal candidate will be able to: Instruct and assess relevant and rigorous learner outcomes written in learning progressions. Implement and/or support Wit & Wisdom instructional program in middle school English a love for reading with learners across a range of literature non-fiction and other written higher level analytical thinking skills within the English Language learner skill and interest in reading interpreting and utilizing informational curriculum instruction and assessment to clear learning opportunities for meaningful learner voice and a strong positive learning and monitor learning using a variety of methods and adjust instruction accordingly to individual learner a positive and active member of various learning communities within the school. This position is a 1.0 FTE position for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year with the possibility of becoming permanent in the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.
