An exciting opportunity has become available to join our growing business in Canada in the role of Accounts Payable Specialist. Joining a friendly and supportive team the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Prepare all journal entries
Process all accounts payable payments
Prepare weekly cash flow updates to corporate
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Manage corporate expense accounts
Generate payments (cheques & EFT)
Contribute to financial reporting requirements ad hoc
Support annual audit process
Support stakeholders within the business for invoice approvals
Commodity tax returns (GST/PST etc.)
Work with the finance team to contribute in any other assigned task
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2-5 years experience working in accounts payable
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficient user of finance software packages and excel
$60500 - $66500 a year
