Job Summary
You will develop the design specification bring up validation and deployment of automated instrumentation to calibrate and test Apples products through NPI and mass production.
- Bachelors in Math/CS/Robotics/Mechatronics/Electrical/ Computer Engineering
- 3 years professional experience (or equivalent) in design development debug validation and working with electro-mechanical/Robotic systems
- Solid understanding of consumer electronics modules like transducers/ sensors (light/force/pressure/touch/motion)
- Basic understanding of hardware concepts and EE fundamentals (i.e. HW architecture Control System Signal processing etc.)
- Programming skills in one or more of the following: C/C/Objective-C Python Lua
- Self-motivated self-reliant and confident in working independently in an exciting factory environment. The following skills are not vital for consideration but will be considered a plus:
- Graduate studies in aforementioned subject areas
- Professional experience in design development debug validation and working with electro-mechanical systems
- Understanding of test principles GRR experience with test automation and optimization
- Experience analyzing and processing large data sets
- Domestic and international travel may be required (up to 10%)
- Experience and strong background in control system and signal processing
- Experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing
- Experience with data processing tools - plotting processing and mining data
- Experience or deep understanding of AI/ML modeling
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to handle many priorities across teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
