As our HIM Specialist you will be responsible for report generation data downloads data preparation and data entry in order to provide accurate information to other staff for future utilization and analysis. This position is also responsible for updating data systems and spreadsheets with updated content. You will conduct audits to ensure the accuracy of information and work with staff members to reconcile reports.

Heres what you will experience working as an HIM Specialist:

Prepare and submit birth certificates to the state registry ensuring compliance with regulations.
Manage health record deficiencies perform chart reconciliation and follow up on missing documentation.
Prep scan index and validate medical records for accuracy; maintain data integrity in electronic systems.
Monitor and resolve HIM application issues conduct quality audits and assist with system troubleshooting.
Deliver compassionate customer-focused service while safeguarding the confidentiality and security of patient records.

Required Skills:

At least 2 years of experience working with data including data entry report generation and data preparation.
Knowledge of MS Office Products Skilled in data preparation and formatting
Excellent time management and attention to detail.

For this US-based position the base pay range is $17.68 - $24.07 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role level location job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
