Location: New York NY 10029
Duration: 14 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: 5 days/week 3540 hours per week Evening and Night shifts preferred
Pay Rate: $58 $60/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Clinical Laboratory Technologist Hematologyfor an exciting job in New York NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret a variety of hematology tests including CBCs differentials coagulation studies and related assays.
Prepare analyze and verify test results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Operate maintain and troubleshoot hematology analyzers and laboratory instruments.
Adhere to quality control procedures and participate in proficiency testing to meet accreditation standards.
Accurately document and enter results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure proper test utilization and patient care.
Comply with all infection control safety and regulatory guidelines (CLIA CAP OSHA NYSED).
Participate in ongoing education training and competency assessments.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with strong hematology experience (hospital or high-volume lab preferred).
Education: Associates Degree in Laboratory Technology (Bachelors in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field preferred).
Licensure: Valid NYSED License (092) required; primary source verification needed.
Certifications: BLS Certification preferred.
