Maersk Logistics & Services Canada Inc. handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving storing processing and dispatching cargo so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Our extensive experience connections and deep expertise across different sectors industries and transportation modes mean we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.

The primary purpose of this role is to grow the Maersk Customs brand by securing new business with quality clients and to continue to position our service as a leader in the industry.

Product growth and development

  • Align with commercial leadership and execute customs sales strategy
  • Define value proposition and differentiators for customs product
  • Develop creative solutions that align with our product offerings
  • Align with Customs tender team to ensure high quality competitive response to RFI/RFQs
  • Understand clients business for competitive pricing proposals
  • Participate in major accounts business reviews if applicable

Grow the sales pipeline

  • Define growth opportunities by collaborating with Sales team
  • Deliver pipeline growth and new revenue in line with the plan
  • Support all Saleforce initiatives and requirements
  • Work with the account owner with direct engagement as SME ( subject matter expert )
  • Actively pursue cross-selling opportunities
  • Partner with solutions team to develop new offerings to clients
  • Active participation in team meetings to help drive engagement
  • Commercial acumen in Customs with focus on developing and closing new business
  • Strong networking capabilities and industry reputation
  • Deep industry knowledge in both Customs regulations and in operational processes

What You Bring:

  • 810 years experience in Customs Brokerage or Trade Compliance.

  • CCS certification required; Customs Broker License preferred.

  • Strong commercial acumen and proven business development success.

  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations brokerage operations and IT systems.

  • Excellent communication problem-solving and leadership skills.

Pay Range: $100k-110k
