Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior PMO Manager to lead our Project Management Office. The role is pivotal in driving project governance aligning initiatives with business objectives and ensuring consistent delivery practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the PMO function including project portfolio management reporting and governance.
- Oversee project and program management activities across Biotage.
- Develop and implement project management frameworks tools and best practices.
- Act as Project Manager for key initiatives when required.
- Drive product development and product care projects according to the roadmap.
- Develop and sustain the product development roadmap.
- Support project managers and teams with guidance training and performance monitoring.
- Manage the project portfolio and project budget planning process.
- Manage and coordinate resource allocation across projects ensuring delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and on budget.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with strategic goals.
- Lead and arrange monthly roadmap reviews.
Skills/Experience
- BSc/MSc in Science Engineering or a related discipline.
- Formal Project Management training PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing cross functional instrument development projects in Life Sciences.
- Demonstrated leadership in PMO or senior project management roles.
- Strong expertise in project governance risk management and resource planning.
- Experience implementing product development processes roadmap and resource allocation tools.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software/tools.
- Understanding of Quality Systems and regulated environments.
