The Opportunity
Were currently looking for a Area Sales Manager to join our Sales team. Were seeking someone with a passion for electric mobility a curiosity for technology and a drive to contribute to meaningful change.
This position is located at Helsinki Finland and is office-based. The role includes travelling around Finland.
The Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for driving and coordinating retail sales with designated partners supporting their Space Managers in achieving targets and maintaining strong relationships through frequent visits.
Other key responsibilities:
- Actively drive sales by keeping Space sales teams knowledgeable of Polestars sales processes tools and campaigns
- Implement system trainings locally with partners
- Collaborate with Polestar sales team to be align with sales activities in Finland
- Identify and suggest processes and system improvements to secure accuracy and quality
- Gather necessary input from various sources and delivering it to help sales teams (internal & Partner)
- Collaborate with partner and internal stakeholders
The ideal candidate
To succeed in this role and at Polestar in general there are a few characteristics youll need to have: Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity and the ability to take the initiative to meet deadlines and requirements and to abandon ideas when theyre not feasible.
In addition you will need the following qualifications:
- Degree (min. BBA) in Business Administration Sales or related field.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in field sales / key account management / area manager or similar preferably within automotive industry
- Ability to travel
- Valid driver license
- Good overall system knowledge (Microsoft Office Salesforce Power BI)
- Excellent level of Finnish and English
