COMMUNICATION ASSISTANT

At MASSLAB every visual tells a story. From a social media layout to a press kit or a project sheet our communication is an extension of our culture.

We are looking for a Communication Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing media and communication team. This role focuses on producing and adapting visual materials for both digital and print formats contributing to the development of visual content and supporting platform-specific adaptations - ranging from Instagram and LinkedIn to newsletters our website press materials and more.

While not limited to content creation this role requires the ability to visually interpret messages and ensure consistency between content format and brand language. The position requires autonomy reliability and a strong sense of visual structure and coherence. This is a full-time position based at our office in Porto. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Portuguese and an interest in architecture are strong assets.

DESIRED PROFILE

• Background in Communication Design Visual Communication Graphic Design Content Creation or a related creative field;

• Previous experience in architecture is a strong advantage;

• Strong graphic execution skills an eye for detail and confidence in turn projects into visual stories;

• Fluent in English both spoken and written; Portuguese is a valuable asset but not mandatory;

• Skilled in professional tools for layout design image editing and visual content creation;

• Confident in developing materials for digital and print use with a strong eye for composition typography and visual consistency;

• Comfortable writing or editing copy in English;

• Understanding of how digital platforms operate (social media websites email marketing) including how to adapt content to each;

• Strong organizational skills and a hands-on proactive approach.

• Capable of working independently managing time and priorities without constant supervision.
