Job Summary
Job Summary MS/TELE FLEX POOL RN
- Provide patient care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry Flex Pool floating to various units as needed
- Work night shifts (3x12 or 4x12 7PM 7AM) including every other weekend
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4/5 on MST units
- Deliver care using standard med-surg/telemetry equipment and Liko lifts
- Utilize Cerner for charting and documentation
- Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards including bar-coded medication administration (BCMA)
- Work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital (Level IV trauma center 87 beds)
- Possess an active Arizona RN or compact license (pending accepted)
- Hold current BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications
- Be open to floating to where most needed within the hospital
- No on-call required; blocked scheduling possible per unit managers discretion
- Guaranteed 36 hours/week with up to 6 facility call-offs per 13-week contract
- Free parking; navy blue scrubs required
- First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
