Special Imaging MRI Supervisor (Permanent Role) - Location: Dallas TX 75246

Job Summary:
The Special Imaging MRI Supervisor supports the management team in supervising planning organizing and enhancing Radiology services including Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional CT MRI Ultrasound IR or Nuclear Medicine. Under the direction of the Director and/or Radiologists the supervisor performs department orientation teaches coaches supervises staff and performs imaging exams in their respective modalities. They ensure compliance with the organizations vision mission values and goals and assist in developing policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards. The supervisor also acts as a department liaison in the managers absence.
This is a working supervisor role with rotating holiday and backup call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise coach and mentor MRI staff in a high-volume department.
- Perform MRI imaging exams including complex procedures (sedation pacemakers implants).
- Assist in developing implementing and improving departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational philosophy.
- Act as a liaison in the managers absence.
- Participate in department orientation and staff training programs.
- Support Cardiac and Brainlab MRI procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant MRI experience.
- Minimum 2 years of current leadership experience in a high-volume MRI department with multiple scanners.
- Experience with complex MRI exams including those involving sedation pacemakers and implants.
- Experience with Cardiac MRI studies required.
- Experience with Brainlab cases is a plus.
Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS certification (within 30 days of hire/transfer).
- ARMRIT or ARRT-MR or ARRT-R certification (Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiography).
