JOB TITLE: Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $48/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required (Interim Secret must be obtained prior to start).

Summary:

• Apply quality principles throughout design manufacturing and supply chain processes.

• Perform technical evaluations of product requirements specifications and designs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and compliance.

• Lead product failure investigations and material review board (MRB) activities.

• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions that meet reliability and regulatory standards.

• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes to ensure product compliance.

• Conduct statistical analysis to identify and address quality issues.

• Develop systems and strategies to enhance supplier and internal performance.

• Support supplier selection and maintain certification and audit programs.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance required (Interim Secret must be obtained prior to start)

• Bachelors degree in a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay or SAP systems

• Experience in Quality Engineering Systems Engineering Materials Process Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering

• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with Supply Chain Quality Engineering

• Skilled in defect resolution through root cause and corrective action implementation

• Quality MRB certification

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
