ALL ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY! Supervises the field construction of a project including its organization planning and scheduling in order to complete the work on time within budget and to quality specified. Responsible to protect and promote the interest of in all matters. Duties and Responsibilities In accordance with Owner contract requirements andBest Practices coordinate and manage the on-siteconstruction activities including:
Study and understand the contract documents (plans specifications and Owner Contractor Agreement) to properly execute the work
Organize and lead the division ofwork among the on-siteteam
Review the subcontractor scopes ofwork coordinate with PM
Develop and implement siteplanning logistics build strategy and procedures for the execution of theworks.
Develop a plan for survey and layout; verify the work of others
Develop monitor update andcommunicate the P6 CPM progress schedule
Establish and enforce acomprehensive project safety & security program as defined in the companysafety program and in accordance with all applicable safety codes andregulations
Coordinate schedule implement and check the work ofsubcontractors
Develop and implement the1-2-3 Quality Control program. Specifically:
Conduct Prephase meetings
Conduct first day inspections
Conduct scheduled inspections
Coordinate 3rd party tests and inspections
Maintain a master deficiency log
Document the program in the company software
Maintain an on-site copy ofrecord documents including drawings specifications submittals and As-Builtdrawings
In coordination with PM/PE implement a process for submittal review and approval.
In coordination with PM/PEimplement a process for requesting clarifications / information (RFI)
Develop and implement a plan for:
Jobsite housekeeping
Temporary heat and enclosures
Temporary power and lighting
Material storage handling andhoisting
Vertical movement (ladders stairs lifts)
Develop a plan for self-performed work including:
Labor & equipment plan
Budget
Material inventory and control
Code tracking and management
Implement inspect and maintainstorm water plans
Document project performance:
Daily Reports
Time cards
Safety inspections
Safety training
Safety Photographs
Schedule updates
QA/QC Inspections
Subcontractor meeting minutes
Subcontractor deficiency notice
Schedule and document Owner inspections and testing
Obtain all necessary permits
Coordinate as required theactivities of inspection agencies
Handle Job labor relations
Facilitate dispute resolution
Manage the building turn-over
Assist with project closeout
Perform other duties and take on other responsibilities as required
WHAT YOULL NEED TO WIN
Fouryear degree
Minimum of 8 years of building construction experience
MUST HAVE MULTI-FAMILY CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
