Position Overview

Were seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to repair maintain and troubleshoot a variety of industrial machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting disassembling and repairing equipment such as motors conveyors and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth and safe production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment according to blueprints diagrams manuals and manufacturer specifications.
Inspect test and troubleshoot devices to determine causes of mechanical failures.
Dismantle repair or replace defective parts using hoists cranes hand tools and power tools.
Adjust functional components and calibrate control instruments to ensure proper operation.
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Operate lathes drill presses grinders and other shop tools as needed to fabricate or repair parts.
Lubricate clean and maintain machines and tools to extend service life.
May assist with electrical equipment repairs or initiate purchase orders for replacement parts.

Qualifications

3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in troubleshooting motors conveyors pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with blueprints schematics and measuring instruments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Must be safety-conscious and capable of working independently or in a team.
