Job Summary
Southland Consulting Engineers has an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Civil CAD Designer to join the land development team in our Dallas-based office!
Responsibilities
- Modeling: Create and edit alignments profiles and pipe networks; experience modeling corridors and surfaces using assemblies and feature lines is a plus
- Plan Production: Produce complete city-approved plan sets for commercial industrial data center and residential land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D Microsoft Excel and other applications following company standards
- Quality and Coordination: Coordinate and work with Project Managers and Engineers perform self-check/QC track comments and incorporate redlines to meet regulatory requirements and client expectations
- Multitasking: Work in a fast-paced collaborative environment and exercise time management skills to balance multiple projects and priorities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred)
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Autodesk and/or Bentley products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a collaborative team environment as well as independently
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to take ownership of their work and contribute to the overall success of the business
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
