Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Level 2 Network Engineer to provide on-site support in a dynamic enterprise-level environment located in Salt Lake City. This short-term contract role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience managing complex network infrastructures in production or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve low to medium complexity network incidents.
Perform in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of network issues.
Maintain and patch network management systems using automation tools.
Support and integrate network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance.
Delegate tasks to junior technical staff as needed.
Collaborate with senior engineers and IT leadership to improve network reliability and security.

Required Skills & Experience

Network routing switching and troubleshooting
Firewall administration and network security monitoring
Familiarity with Zscaler cloud security solutions
Experience with network automation and scripting for patch management

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Clear communication and effective collaboration
High accountability and ownership of assigned tasks

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field OR 24 years of relevant hands-on experience.

Certifications (Preferred):

CCNA (Routing & Switching DevNet or CyberOps)
Zscaler (ZCCA-IA ZCCA-PA)
