As an IT Operations Engineer you will:
- Build and maintain a scalable IT infrastructure to support a rapidly growing organization.
- Respond to IT help desk requests and provide assistance via phone email remote access and onsite supportescalating complex requests when necessary.
- Provide technical support for computer systems networks software and hardware.
- Lead or contribute to system administration server support and project implementation initiatives.
- Develop and document IT processes and procedures to improve consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Knowledge of data protection operations and laws (GDPR) Managed Fortinet network stack Knowledge of MDM best practices CCNA certification Experience with Powershell bash and shell scripting
DAILY TASKS
Build out a scalable IT infrastructure for a rapidly growing organization Respond to information technology help desk requests and provide assistance via phone e-mail remote access and onsite support escalating more complex requests to senior staff members Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems networks software and hardware
REQUIRED SKILLS
5-7 years in IT operations including system administration server support project implementation and desktop support in a fast paced environment Experience with Google Workspace or other Active Directory systems Experience supporting a broad range of computer systems (Linux Windows and Mac) Knowledge of networking protocols and equipment (VPN DNS next-gen firewalls routers switches or access points) Experience in deploying integrating and administration of SaaS applications Ability to operate in high pressure situations successfully handle multiple priorities and possess a high level of discipline while remaining flexible Experience in creating IT processes and procedures
