Your Role

Oversees all products within the Enterprise Systems product stream aligning Product Leads and Owners around a global strategy to enhance client delivery efficiency. Collaborates with practices Business teams and external suppliers to develop deliver and drive adoption of legal technology solutions that align with the Firms Technology Strategy and roadmap.

  • Provides strategic accountability for the evolution of all tools and services within the Enterprise Systems product stream. Ensuring alignment with the Technology and Data strategy and Firm Wide Strategy collaborating with other Tech & Data Heads Of roles and the Chief Technology & Data Officer to input into the function strategy.
  • Collaborates extensively with Business teams and Chiefs (particularly People Finance BD&M) to understand their requirements and deliver technical solutions to enable execution of middle and back-office business processes.
  • Maintains overall responsibility for the service quality and reliability of Enterprise Systems products. Drives the development deployment and evolution of all tools within the Enterprise Systems product stream (e.g. Workday SAP Salesforce Automation ServiceNow BluePrism) and in four key areas: People Systems Finance & Risk Systems Automation Systems and Client Systems.
  • Collaborates with Product Owners Service Owners Architects and Business Analysts to monitor product performance and drive technical development. Acts as escalation point for key decisions on Enterprise Systems product development including prioritisation of demand involving the business where appropriate.
  • Manages external suppliers for technology and resources ensuring delivery and alignment with the Firms strategy. Collaborates with Procurement to select the best technology and service providers.
  • Develops talent strategies for the Enterprise Systems sub-function ensures alignment with broader goals and promotes diversity and inclusion within the Product stream. This includes providing guidance to the Product Owners and supporting roles within the stream.
  • Responsible for creates manages and develops the Enterprise Systems budget with a view to constant service and service optimisation inputting into Tech & data portfolio teams where appropriate.
  • Cultivates an environment of continual improvement systematically evaluating Enterprise Systems products gathering stakeholder feedback and implementing technical and operational enhancements to keep pace with organisational and market demands.
  • Evangelises and champions the adoption of Enterprise Systems tools and services throughout the firm leading campaigns to drive user engagement foster best practice use and ensure strategic benefits are realised across all business areas.
  • Engaging across the Firm globally networking with key stakeholders and creating a quality service at the right price point for the Firm.

About You

  • Extensive experience leading the development deployment and ongoing improvement of enterprise systems in a large or complex organisation ideally within professional or legal services.
  • Strong expertise in standardising business processes and data management at scale with a proven ability to align technology solutions to organisational strategy and objectives.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing product streams working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellence in service quality reliability and innovation.
  • Experience delivering tools and solutions for automation robotic process automation and workflow management with an understanding of their impact on efficiency and business value.
  • Skilled in overseeing product performance using quantitative and qualitative insights to drive continuous technical enhancement and maximise user satisfaction.
  • Adept at managing complex dependencies and integrating technology platforms within a broader business and technology ecosystem.
  • Record of effective supplier and vendor management ensuring delivery aligns with budget timelines and strategic priorities.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in developing and implementing talent strategies that foster high-performing diverse and inclusive teams.
  • Strong communicator and facilitator with the ability to influence at all levels and align cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
  • Analytical and proactive able to navigate organisational complexity anticipate future needs and adapt to evolving business demands.
