Experience & Qualifications Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Familiarity with automotive components systems and terminology.
- Experience with inventory control parts ordering or stock management systems (e.g. CDK Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS) is an asset.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is beneficial.
- Post-secondary education in Automotive Technology Business or a related field (an asset).
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Check-in and mirror match parts to damage parts and place on the parts cart.
- Deliver parts to technicians if necessary.
- Obtain OEM diagrams on vehicles prior to disassembly.
- Organize and keep the parts department clean.
- Handle parts return pickups.
- Assist coworkers with parts-related questions.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
