Peraton is seeking a Subcontracts Supervisorto lead and oversee subcontract management activities in support of theFederal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring subcontractors deliver products and services on time within budget and in full compliance withFAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)and federal acquisition regulations. You will provide direction to subcontract administrators ensure adherence to company and government policies and manage complex subcontract portfolios that enable the FAAs mission-critical modernization efforts.
In this position you will:
- Supervise and mentor a team ofsubcontract administrators and analysts ensuring consistent execution of subcontracting processes.
- Lead thedevelopment negotiation and administrationof complex subcontract agreements.
- Ensure all subcontract activities comply withFAA AMS FAR and organizational procurement policies.
- Review and approve subcontract modifications funding actions and performance documentation.
- Overseesubcontractor performance management including risk identification and corrective action tracking.
- Support proposal activities by contributing tosubcontracting strategies cost estimates and vendor evaluations.
- Ensure timely flow ofdeliverables reports and contract documentationbetween subcontractors and program management.
- Coordinate withContracts Procurement Finance and Program leadershipto align subcontract performance with project goals.
- Prepare and presentperformance summaries cost tracking reports and compliance briefingsto leadership.
- Drive process improvements in subcontract management risk mitigation and documentation control.
- Prepare and present executive-level summaries and performance reports.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- 6 years of experiencein subcontract management procurement or government contracting.
- Supervisory and team leadership experience.
- Proven knowledge ofFederal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)andFAA AMSpolicies.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managingcost-type fixed-price and time & materials subcontracts.
- Excellent communication leadership and analytical skills.
- Experience developing and maintainingaudit-ready subcontract documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors supportingcomplex aviation engineering or IT programs.
- Experience leadingsubcontractor performance reviews audits and compliance assessments.
- Familiarity withcost analysis pricing justifications and supplier performance metrics.
- Proven success coordinating withprogram management contracts and legal teamsto resolve issues.
- Strong understanding ofsubcontract lifecycle managementand risk mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to FAA programs or NAS systems.
- Experience supporting FAA DOT or other federal government programs.
- Degree inBusiness Supply Chain or Government Contracting.
- Professional certifications such asCPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or PMP.
- Experience supportingFAA modernization or other federal aviation programs.
- Background infederal subcontract compliance auditing and performance management.
- Familiarity withERP or contract management tools(SAP Oracle Deltek Costpoint or equivalent).
- Experience mentoring or developing high-performing subcontract teams in a fast-paced environment.

Target Salary Range
$80000 - $128000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
