Job Summary

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Pick pack and prepare orders for shipment according to daily schedules and customer requirements 

Accurately verify product quantities descriptions and shipping details before dispatch. 

Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jacks forklifts scanners) safely and efficiently. 

Ship all small parcel shipments. 

Assist with receiving unloading and stocking incoming shipments as needed. 

Repack materials for shipments.  

Follow direction of the supervisor of the SMF (external) warehouse. 

Report inventory discrepancies damaged goods or shipping issues to supervisors promptly. 

Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. 

You will be required to be able to operate a forklift proficiently and safely to load/unload trucks and to locate materials using a scanner.

You will be required to maintain a clean environment at all times by following good housekeeping practices.

Safety awareness in daily work to ensure a safe work environment at all times is a vital part of your role.

Act as an effective team member to communicate daily tasks and instructions.

The position requires use of Personal Protective Equipment which includes safety shoes safety glasses and hearing protection and other PPE as required for the various job duties.

 

THE ENVIRONMENT

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures and guidelines must always be adhered to.  Applicants must be able to work in a manufacturing industrial and warehouse environment and be able to wear personal protective equipment such as safety boots safety glasses hearing protection etc.


Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be able to work proficiently in a manufacturing industrial environment and warehouse settings. 
  • Shift Schedules can be 8- or 12-Hour Shifts and are dependent on the departments needs and demands. Note that shift schedules/hours can change as needed. 
  • Must be able to work overtime weekends and holidays if needed. 
  • Must have and maintain a good attendance record. 
  • Experience in SCM/Logistics of at least one year in Automotive or another industry. 
  • Knowledge of Material Handling 
  • Must be able to work in the US without visa or other sponsorship.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
  • There is no payment for relocation expenses for this opportunity
