Job Summary

Software Engineer Traineeship: If you are passionate about software engineering and want to join a global leader in digital payments the Software Engineer Traineeship Program at Visa is for you. This program combines intensive training hands-on mentorship and real-world projects to help you launch your career as a software engineer at Visa.
This is a 16 months long opportunity aimed at people with no prior experience but interested in IT training with an organization whilst also earning a salary.
Software Engineer Trainees will be put through an 18-week bootcamp first where they will receive full-time classroom-style training that will prepare them to begin their careers as Software Engineer professionals at Visa. Program is centered around Java development equipping Trainees with the foundational and advanced skills needed to thrive in a professional engineering environment.
Following this Trainees will complete one year of On-The-Job Training during which time they will receive hands on mentorship from leaders within on of the technology groups at Visa as well as related technical instruction and career development workshops to develop professional and durable skills. Specific assignments will depend on upon your skillsets interest and team applying to this position your application is automatically consideredacrossmultiple software development teams so you could potentially work across a range of Visa products including consumer payments commercial payments and corporate IT.
Qualifications :
- Not currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelors Masters or PhD degree program in a software engineering field (other degree backgrounds are welcome to apply).
- Eligible to work in Poland.
- Must be available to work in-person inWarsaw Poland.
- Speak Polish fluently and have at least a B2 level in English.
- Have basic analytical skills / mindset.
Additional Information :
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site).
