Experience and skill incorporating elements of diversity equity and inclusion into all areas of responsibility; Recent experience working with African American Asian/Pacific Islander Latinx Native American and other racially minoritized students in the classroom and an understanding of how historical patterns of exclusion of these groups in higher education shape patterns of participation and outcomes; Experience working with students of various cultural gender age socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds including students with disabilities in a higher education setting; Willingness to examine and remediate ones instructional relational and/or classroom practices to more effectively engage and support racially minoritized students; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students and/or staff; Demonstrated ability to work with computers and other technologies which are utilized in providing high-quality instruction and support to students; Willingness to examine and improve collegial relationships; Experience interpreting student and instructor needs to produce effective instructional materials and technologies to support teaching and learning; Demonstrated success in online instruction and/or verified certification in online instruction; Proficiency with eLearning development tools (e.g. Captivate Articulate Camtasia Panopto Adobe Creative Suite) and multimedia software; Experience with Interactive Videoconferencing Classrooms and related technology; Work experience in instructional design instructional technology teaching and training in higher educational settings and other related work and professional experience; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively present professionally and interpret instructional needs to create effective materials; Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and web/media-based educational technologies; Demonstrated ability to provide training and support in both PC and Macintosh instructional application environments; Demonstrate commitment to staying current with emerging educational technologies; Related professional work experience; Excellent presentation and demonstration skills; Experience working and managing a multi-media studio room to aid faculty in creating content; and Knowledge of the community college and its mission and goals.
