RN Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM 40 hours/week
Pay: Up to $3000/Week
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN Nurse Educatorfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.
Responsibilities
Plan develop and conduct educational programs for nursing personnel focusing on Medical/Surgical and Labor & Delivery units.
Serve as a clinical mentor and resource guiding nurses in evidence-based practices and skill development.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess training needs and implement effective learning strategies.
Support new staff orientation and ongoing competency evaluations to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
Maintain accurate records of education sessions evaluations and staff progress.
Provide hands-on clinical support as needed utilizing at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Active New York RN license (Primary Source Verification via NYSED).
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience; Med/Surg background preferred.
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
