You will make an impact by

  • Providing expert guidance to families on child health growth and development.
  • Building trust through home visits and consultations that support parents in their journey.
  • Advocating for children and families to access the right services and resources.
  • Promoting breastfeeding nutrition and womens health in a safe inclusive environment.
  • Collaborating with community networks to strengthen family wellbeing and connectedness.

What you will bring

  • Registration with AHPRA as a General Nurse and Midwife.
  • Qualification as a Maternal and Child Health Nurse.
  • Desirable minimum 2 years experience in the MCH sector with demonstrated ability to support vulnerable and diverse families within an outreach setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of child development behaviour and family dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to inclusive and culturally safe practice.
  • Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to assess risk and respond appropriately including mandatory reporting.
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
