Job Summary
The role entails managing the design and development of connectors (e.g. USB HDMI Power Lightning etc.) for a variety of Apple products driving day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives and focusing on mechanical engineering design development planning and validation.
- BS ME degree or equivalent required MBA nice to have
- Several years of project management experience
- Experience and familiarity with consumer electronic industry
- Excellent communication organizational presentation and leadership skills
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
- Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
- Understands rapid development cycles and is adaptable in the face of ambiguity
- Redirect pitfalls and develop improved course of action
- Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience interfacing with product design operations cross-functional teams and managing international vendors
- Combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering delivering products comprised of various materials and high esthetic quality
