Job Summary
Window and Door Service Technician
Location: Connecticut - Out of Meriden
Were looking for a Window and Door Service Technician to join our Service Department. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive the best possible support for their window and door needswhether its repairs maintenance or installations.
As part of our team you will:
- Perform window and door repairs and maintenance including hardware and glass replacement weatherstripping and adjustments.
- Inspect and diagnose issues with windows and doors recommending appropriate solutions.
- Install and replace window and door units ensuring proper alignment sealing and functionality.
- Mull and assemble window and door units both in the shop and in the field.
- Provide professional courteous customer service by addressing inquiries concerns and service requests.
- Accurately document all work performed including materials used and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Service Coordinator and other team members to schedule and complete service appointments.
- Maintain tools equipment and service vehicles in proper working order.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends product updates and manufacturer guidelines.
- Take on additional functions and duties as assigned.
