The opportunity

Responsible for maintaining the accounts payable functions whilst ensuring accurate and timeliness processing of invoices together with the investigation and analysis of variances.

Processing of payments by matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets and distribute cheques according to established procedures
Prepare cheques and EFT payments
Verify vendor statements and handle all correspondence involving accounts payable
Assist in resolution of complaints between vendor and customer
Assist with month and year-end close out procedures and records

You will have:

2 years experience in a similar role
A good understanding of the financial compliance around recording activities for commercial entities in respect of GST FBT and PAYG
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable accounts payable and maintaining general ledgers
High attention to detail
