Job Summary

Job Description:

MKTG Sports Entertainment is looking for a hospitality-minded associate to join our team in Charlotte NC who can develop high-quality corporate hospitality events with a primary focus on motorsports (NASCAR) hospitality! This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and inspired person who will implement corporate events that enhance our client/guest experience. You will report to: Senior Manager/Director.

You Will:

You will apply strategic marketing goals and implement them in event execution
Advise clients on event strategies and project plan
You will represent the client and company in negotiating and troubleshooting with properties venues and suppliers to deliver first-class experiences for guests
Support MKTG Hospitality team to help manage calls agendas and notes for partners across the entirety of our clients business
Plan and complete site surveys
Prepare and manage line-item budgets
Manage event branding collateral and on-site materials
Determine food and beverage and other on-site amenities/experiences and oversee ordering and implementation
Conduct onsite management of corporate hospitality events with a primary focus on sports and entertainment-related events
Manage on-site vendors oversee contractors and enforce company and client policies during execution
Create client-ready event itineraries staffing plans and event recaps
Lead client conference calls and meetings and design and prepare communications and presentations
Manage and communicate project status with manager internal team and clients
Identify opportunities for business growth and recommend new strategies to clients and company
Evaluate event outcomes identify areas for improvement and provide going-forward strategy recommendations to partners

About You

Bachelors Degree
3 years of relevant experience developing high-level corporate events and hospitality
Experience in the motorsports industry (preferably NASCAR)
Exceptional client service and interaction skills
Budget planning proficiency
Comfort in a client-facing role and ability to partner with the client
Project management experience
Experience building and delivering presentations
Ability to travel frequently both weekdays and weekends

The annual base salary range for this position is $51000-$83375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
