About the Opportunity:
An established and nationally respected healthcare system is seeking an Assistant Director of Patient Access to support operational leadership across its acute care facilities in Florida. This role ensures the smooth and efficient delivery of patient registration admissions and front-end revenue cycle services while driving patient satisfaction and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of patient access functions including admissions registration scheduling and insurance verification
Lead coach and develop patient access staff for performance accuracy and compliance
Support executive leadership in throughput optimization and process improvement initiatives
Maintain adherence to federal state and hospital policies and regulations
Assist with departmental budgeting staffing optimization and resource planning
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in patient access registration revenue cycle or related hospital operations
Recent acute care hospital experience required
No employment gaps exceeding 1 year
